Overnight flight to Portugal
Welcome to Porto, second biggest city in Portugal. After the overnight flight a private transfer will drive you to 4* Carrís Porto Ribeira, your hotel for the next couple of days.
This day, you will discover every city corner, and the unique architecture, with your private friendly guide. Douro river with Port wine caves on one side and Ribeira square on the other side . Visit Bolhao market and S. Francisco church. At downtown, Stockexchange Palace, Lello bookstore,Majestic coffee shop, S.Bento Train Station, Torre dos Clerigos are some of the places to visit. (B,L)
Today you will travel to the stunning Douro Valley. Indulge in the world-renowned wineries of Portugal’s Douro Valley, visit stunning wineries nestled into the valley,each with their own sweeping views and high-end wines. Learn about the vast array of varietals grown and fermented here, including Portugal’s legendary Port wine. Enjoy a private wine tasting from the family owned winery estates before retiring back to your Hotel.

Today you will be transferes to Lisbon start the journey to Aveiro, where you’ll see how it earned the name “Venice of Portugal.” Then you will visit Nazaré, a fisherman’s village and a famous surf spot, where you can find the biggest waves in the world. Here the fish is king and it’s time to lunch. You got the opportunity to eat a nice grilled fish that was captured in the morning. Our journey continues south to Óbidos, a medieval village from XII century, inside the castle walls, where you can find a lot of handcraft stores mixed with churches and charming guest houses. This village is also known by the chocolate and cherry liquor that you are going to taste. It’s time to arrive in Lisbon.(B,L)
Enjoy a visit to the romantic town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important cultural and historical sites in Portugal. Your tour will begin with a visit to the National Palace of Sintra. Discover the town’s historical center with its narrow streets that lead to the Quinta da Regaleira and the Pena National Palace. See the Pena Palace and Park, a majestic place with amazing landscapes located on Sintra Mountain. Built in the 19th century by the king consort of Queen Maria II, it is one of the most outstanding examples of Portuguese Romanticism. Enjoy the included traditional lunch. Continue to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, where the land ends and the sea begins. Admire the beautiful scenery and amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean. On the way back to Lisbon you’ll have stunning coastal views. Visit the charming seaside villages of Cascais and Estoril. In the evening enjoy a special program, a fado dinner live show. (B,L,D)
Today you will have a private full-day tour of Lisbon. You will begin your tour by visiting the S. Francis Church and “Baixa” area of Lisbon, where you will enjoy the local shops, restaurants and cafes. Lunch is served in a traditional restaurant. After a traditional lunch, we visit the Belem area of Lisbon, where you will find Lisbon’s iconic monuments and enjoy the typical “Pastel de Belém”, a pastry that is now world famous and considered one of Lisbon’s calling card. Enjoy some leisure time in the afternoon and explore the city of Ponta Delgada, walk throughout the beautiful streets of the capital of São Miguel. (B)
Today you will discover one of the seven wonders of Portugal, "Sete Cidades" You will depart from Ponta Delgada towards Vista do Rei viewpoint. On the way you will have the opportunity to visit and discover some smaller lagoons such as Lagoa das Empadadas and Lagoa do Canário, before you get to the viewpoint where you can view the magnificent Lagoa das Sete Cidades. After driving along the dirt road that surrounds the rim of the volcanic structure, you will descend to the Sete Cidades village and have a short stop near the church of São Nicolau. Enjoy Lunch at a local traditional restaurant. Prior to returning to Ponta Delgada, we will have the opportunity to visit Lagoa do Fogo or (Fire Lake), undoubtedly one of the grandest nature attractions of the Azores. *Note Visits to Sete Cidades and Lagoa Do Fogo will be dependent on weather conditions. Departures to the north coast making stops at belvedere of Sta Iria, tea plantations of Gorreana, the oldesta and currently only active tea plantation in Europe, visit the belvedere of Pico de Ferro. From this last belvedere, can be observed the biggest and oldest volcanic crater at the bottom of which lies Furnas lake and the spas of Furnas valley are located. Once in Furnas lunch (included) will be served, the famous "Cozido nas caldeiras”. Along the south coast we will make a stop at belvedere of Caloura and will drive by the town of Lagoa before returning to Ponta Delgada. (B,L)
